Spring 2024

The City is progressing with the Redmond Wetlands Complex Project, having finalized the design. Currently, the City is coordinating agency reviews and meeting permitting requirements. A second Land Use application has been submitted to Deschutes County, and residents within the County’s mandated mailing radius will be notified, similar to the notice received with the initial Land Use application. This second application is necessary to allow public access to the proposed facility. The construction of the new facility is scheduled to begin in the fall of 2024 as planned.
